Aegis Health as a private hospital is required as part of licensing with WA health to be fully accredited against the National Safety and Quality Health Care Standards (NSQHSS).
As a new facility Aegis Health will be undergoing 2 accreditation assessments in 2026 and 2027. Out first Interim accreditation against the complete NSQHSS is planned for July 2026. Meeting interim accreditation requirements is essential as it enables us to ensure our private patients can access their full health fund rebates. Following successful completion of the interim accreditation we will be reassessed in mid-2027 where at this time we will have a range of data available to support and validate that our systems are at best practice. In addition to this process, we are also committing to benchmarking as part of our membership with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.
Once established we plan to publish key results for areas such as hand hygiene compliance, patient satisfaction and other indicators. Our website provides a range of information about our services, and we welcome all feedback from our patients, carers, visitors and visiting health professionals.
