Aegis Health is required to protect the privacy and confidentiality of health information and personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Health Services Act 2016 (WA), and the Privacy and Confidentiality Policy.

Patients have the right to access their health information and to request its release to authorised third parties. Aegis Health ensures that all requests for access to and release of health information are processed in accordance with legislative requirements, patient consent, and professional obligations.

Expenses related to administrative costs for providing access to, releasing, or making changes to medical records may be charged.

Any requests for access, release, or amendment will be addressed within a timely manner, typically within 30 days. If the time to respond is likely to extend beyond 30 days the respondent will be notified in writing.
