For over 40 years, Aegis Care has delivered compassionate, high-quality residential aged care, to more than 3,200 elderly residents across 30 facilities in Western Australia.
Aegis Health grows from that same foundation. Led by CEO and Proprietor Mr Michael Cross we are committed to providing high quality health services in Western Australia through not just what we offer, but in how care feels for every person who walks through our doors.

What's in a name?
“Aegis” signifies our unwavering dedication to both our patients and staff
The name “Aegis” originates from a Greek word referring to the goatskin shield used by Zeus for protection.
At Aegis Health, protection means more than physical care. It means creating an environment where patients feel safe, supported and respected. Where families feel informed and reassured. And where our staff feel valued and equipped to do their best work.
You will notice the circumflex above the “e” in our name — a nod to its Greek roots, and a symbol we think of as a roof: shelter, safety, and care above all else. The golden “i” reflects our commitment to the individual — because at Aegis Health, every person matters.
